The assessment

The load is manageable. A real assessment is where it starts.

Validated clinical instruments — GAD-7 and ISI — reviewed by a licensed clinician who knows shift work. Not a quiz. Not a diagnosis. A grounded read on how your nervous system is actually holding up.

What it actually feels like

More than worry. A pattern that follows you home from shift.

Frontline stress and anxiety are common and highly treatable when someone sees the whole picture. A few of the ways they tend to show up:

A paramedic in soft morning light, off shift and taking a slow breath.
Wound-up between shiftsWorry that keeps running after the handover — hard to switch off, out of proportion to the day.
The body won't let goJaw, shoulders, and gut still on shift-alert hours after you clock out.
Sleep that won't stickTrouble getting down, or waking at 3 a.m. with the ward still running in your head.
Pulling backQuietly skipping calls, plans, or conversations because you don't have the bandwidth.
Focus goes firstSmall tasks feel heavier than they should. Reading a chart takes twice as long.
Shorter fuseFrustration lands faster than usual — at home, in the break room, or in traffic.

How the assessment works

Four steps from intake to a therapist-reviewed read.

  1. Answer validated instruments

GAD-7 anxiety scale and ISI sleep index — scored and severity-banded — plus medical history and a self-harm safety screen. One question at a time, autosaved, anonymous to start.

  2. Signal structures the context

On submission, Signal risk analysis runs automatically — scores, risk flags, and a clinician-ready summary, before anyone opens the case.

  3. Clinician review

A licensed clinician reads the case with the AI summary alongside it, makes the decision, and personally owns every word that comes back to you.

  4. Your care plan unlocks

On approval: your results explained in plain language, plus daily check-ins, monitoring, and sprays if they fit. Not a diagnosis — a real starting point.

Clinician review

Every submission is reviewed by a licensed clinician before your care plan opens.
